Transitioning in the workplace

Transgender or Trans is an umbrella term for people whose gender identity or gender expression differs from the sex assigned to them at birth. The workplace can be a challenging place for an individual who is transitioning and there are a number of information resources available to employers to enable them to support their transgender employees in the workplace during that process. Transgender Equality Network Ireland (TENI) seeks to improve conditions and advance the rights and equality of trans people and their families.
